Khaberni - Today, Sunday, King Abdullah II will wear the official attire designated for the occasion of delivering the High Throne Speech during the opening of the first ordinary session of the 20th Parliament. This outfit is one of the two outfits His Majesty wears only on two occasions: the day he ascends the throne, and the day of the Throne Speech, and during some national occasions such as the Silver Jubilee ceremony.
The "Throne Attire," according to Khaberni, is characterized by simplicity and grandeur, expressing dignity and sovereignty, consistent with the constitutional entitlements that affirm the institutional state and governance methodology.
The throne attire consists of two colors: black worn in winter, and white in summer. The king wears the official military uniform, adorned with medals and decorations, which signifies the military traditions of the Jordanian state, and his role as the supreme commander of the armed forces.
This attire reflects the symbolism of the Jordanian state and its dignity, embodying King Abdullah II's leadership role in protecting the unity of the people and preserving the heritage of the kingdom.
