AlHunaity We will not allow any breach of Jordanian airspace

Khaberni - The Chief of Joint Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaity, visited the modified Hawk missile unit/20 today, Tuesday, and he was received by the commander of the Royal Air Force and the unit's commander.

Major General Al-Hunaity listened to a briefing on the technical and operational readiness levels, and the measures that the unit had taken over the past days in dealing with missiles and drones that targeted sites and facilities within the kingdom in several provinces.

The Chief of Joint Staff emphasized that protecting the kingdom's skies is a sovereign duty that is non-negotiable and must not be taken lightly. He stressed that the armed forces will not allow any attempt to breach its airspace and will deal decisively with any threat that compromises national security and the safety of its citizens, according to precise operational procedures.

Major General Al-Hunaity explained that the General Command, under the direction of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, is continuing to develop and update the air defense systems in line with current requirements and modern technical developments, noting that investment in specialized training and qualification is ongoing to enhance readiness and solidify professionalism in performing assigned duties.

The Chief of Joint Staff, accompanied by a number of senior officers of the armed forces, participated with the personnel of the Martyr Muwaffaq Al-Salti Air Base in Maghrib prayers and breaking their fast, appreciating their efforts and high vigilance in protecting the skies of the kingdom and preserving its security and stability, affirming that the Arab Army will remain the protective shield and the formidable barrier under various circumstances and challenges.
