Khaberni - The Central District Municipality has completed the first phase of the National Outskirts Park project, which included leveling the grounds, building stone walls, and preparing the entries and exits, in addition to adding aesthetic touches that harmonize with the nature of the area.
The municipality stated in a statement today, Saturday, that it will complete the next phases which include walking paths, family seating areas, children's play areas, and according to the approved engineering designs that consider the highest standards of beauty and public comfort.
The National Outskirts Park is considered one of the vital projects through which the municipality seeks to enhance domestic tourism and activate community movement in the area, which positively reflects on the environmental and service reality in the district.
The park covers an area of 35 dunams, containing more than 500 ancient oak trees that add a distinctive natural beauty to the site.
