Khaberni - The Eastern Military Region thwarted early this morning, Saturday, in its area of responsibility, an attempt to smuggle a quantity of drugs loaded by balloons directed with primitive devices. The balloons and their cargo were dealt with and brought down inside Jordanian territory after being detected by the border guard forces in coordination with the security services and the Anti-Narcotics Department, and the confiscated items were referred to the competent authorities for necessary actions.
