Khaberni - A new tragic accident took place in the Indian state of Odisha, after a boy, aged 15, was killed under the wheels of a train while shooting a video clip on one of the railway lines in the city of Puri.
According to Indian media reports, the accident occurred last Tuesday at the Janakdvpur station, when the boy Vishwajit Saha, a resident of the Mangalaghat area, was returning from a visit to the Dakshinkali temple with his mother. During the return journey, he stopped near the railway track to shoot a short clip to post on social media.
A video found on his phone showed the moments the boy filmed himself while trains sped by from the opposite direction, before the camera fell to the ground due to the strong winds caused by the passing train, in the moment of his fatal collision.
Odisha Railway Police rushed to the scene of the accident immediately upon receiving the report, where the boy's body was found and taken to the hospital for forensic medical examination.
