Khaberni - The Turkish city of Kahramanmaraş witnessed on the evening of October 22nd a horrific incident of family violence, resulting in the deaths of two women and serious injuries to a girl.
The incident occurred when the perpetrator went to his former wife's home, where an argument ensued that ended with him shooting her, leading to her death upon arrival at the hospital.
Minutes later, the perpetrator moved to the victim's mother's house in a neighboring district, where he shot his mother-in-law and his wife's daughter, resulting in the woman's death and the girl being seriously wounded and taken to the hospital for treatment.
Subsequently, the perpetrator attempted to end his own life with the same weapon, resulting in serious injuries. He was transported to the hospital under intensive medical surveillance.
Police teams began investigating at the scenes of the crime, gathering initial evidence before sending the bodies for autopsy, while monitoring the health status of the injured, and imposing a security perimeter around the homes to ensure residents’ safety and facilitate the investigation.
