Khaberni - The Russian government announced today, Thursday, that the Federation Council has ratified a decision to terminate the government agreement signed with the United States concerning the disposal of plutonium used for military purposes.
The government clarified in a press statement that Russia will continue to adhere to nuclear safety standards under the supervision of its national institutions, ensuring the protection of its interests and national security. At the same time, it emphasized the necessity of a dialogue with the United States to ensure the continuation of relations in other aspects.
