Khaberni - Greater Amman Municipality has launched a self-service system and an electronic attendance and departure system, as part of the second phase of the human resources package for Oracle ERP applications, within the context of its continuous efforts to develop the work system and enhance digital transformation in human resources management.
The system aims to simplify procedures and automate administrative processes for employees, including the submission and approval of vacation and departure requests electronically according to the administrative hierarchy, in addition to enabling the employee to manage personal data such as address, phone number, and marital status without needing to visit the human resources department.
The system also contributes to improving institutional performance efficiency and reducing human errors resulting from manual entry, through the unification and integration of the database with systems related to salaries and human resources. This integration allows for the easy and accurate generation of reports and documentation of operations.
The launch of the system aligns with the Municipality’s orientation towards digital transformation and improving the employee experience, by providing electronic services that enhance transparency and expedite the processing of internal transactions.
It is noteworthy that the Municipality has so far included about 30 electronic services in the system, with plans to gradually complete them to reach 80 services including services for the Municipality’s employee club, housing fund, solidarity fund, and social services.
