Samsung Electronics Reveals Advanced Data Protection Technologies in Galaxy S26 Series and Launches the First Screen with Built

Khaberni - Samsung Electronics has inaugurated a new era in the world of smartphones by unveiling the Galaxy S26 series, which focuses on integrating advanced privacy technologies within the daily user experience, establishing its position in the field of privacy, which is now not just a technical detail hidden in the settings, but a part of the protection during transitions between work and life, and between open spaces and crowded areas.

In line with this approach that has enhanced digital security and set a new standard, the company revealed at the Galaxy Unpacked global event recently held in San Francisco, USA, the Galaxy S26 Ultra — the top model in the new series — which uniquely features the first screen equipped with built-in privacy protection (Privacy Display), presenting it as an exceptional innovation.

The phone's screen relies on the Black Matrix architecture which blocks the view from side angles — right, left, top, and bottom — to prevent prying eyes from seeing what is not meant for them, while the image remains pure in front of the user with its realistic colors and full details. The user can switch between three protection modes, including the "Maximum Privacy Protection" mode, which ensures data confidentiality even in the most crowded environments.

Enhancing this level of protection, the company designed the three series phones with the One UI 8.5 interface, which turns protection into a comprehensive system that starts from the core of the phones and extends to the cloud in an intuitive experience that does not require the user to perform any actions or download any external applications.

In light of the growing threats associated with digital fraud, the company has introduced within the three phones the Call Screening feature supported by Galaxy AI; where unknown numbers are automatically answered, identifying the caller and their purpose, then displaying a clear summary on the screen, thereby freeing the user from direct interaction with suspicious calls.

Furthermore, the new Privacy Alerts feature acts as a fully intelligent protection mechanism on the three phones, proactively alerting the user in case any app unnecessarily tries to access their precise location or sensitive data, giving them complete control and enhancing their ability to manage their data with greater awareness.

Samsung Electronics has reinforced this framework by including Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC); to face future computing threats; it applies this encryption to safe operation and software loading, which ensures the phone's system remains protected against tampering or reverse engineering attempts, even as hacking tools evolve globally.

And since personal details are the essence of privacy, the Private Album feature in the gallery provides an immediate layer of protection for photos and videos using the usual screen lock, without additional complications. On a broader system level, the Knox Matrix platform dedicated to protecting sensitive and confidential data offers a Comprehensive Security Mode, allowing for the security monitoring of all connected devices, from phones to screens and home appliances, with the ability to isolate any device exposed to a threat automatically.

And with the transformation of the Galaxy S26 series phones into the smartest and most customized phones, the responsibility to protect user privacy increases. Through this integration between the phone screens, the system, encryption, and the connected ecosystem, Samsung Electronics provides its customers with a golden opportunity to embrace AI experiences with full confidence, coupled with an unparalleled level of confidence in data protection at every layer of the phones.
