Khaberni - During a field trip in Ma'an Governorate, Minister of Labor Dr. Khaled Al-Bakkar visited the operational production branch in Wadi Uneiza area in Al-Husseiniya district of the governorate.
Al-Bakkar confirmed during his visit to the production branch, which is operated by Al-Wala'a Catering Services, the importance of the production branch initiative in employing Jordanians, which is one of the royal initiatives implemented by the ministry in rural and desert areas across all governorates of the kingdom.
He added that the establishment of production branches, which currently number 33 units and production branches with more under construction next year, operating in various sectors in different districts and governorates of the kingdom, aims to localize development and employ Jordanians near their places of residence, saving time and effort of young men and women so they do not have to relocate to work in city centers.
He toured inside the factory, which has a capacity to employ 150 workers, and urged the young men and women working in the production branch to share their experience with their peers and encourage them to work and acquire skills that enable them to sustain in the job market.
The minister explained that an investor who wishes to establish production branches is offered financial and capital support to enable them to start their project and employ Jordanians in the provinces.
The minister listened to the HR manager at Al-Wala'a Catering Services, Adnan Al-Sayouf, about the operation mechanism of the production branch specialized in producing food materials, which spans an area of 3650 m2 and employs locals from the area.
