Khaberni - The Sons of Al-Tafayelah Neighborhood have issued a clarification statement on stopping the relief operations to the Gaza Strip after a ceasefire deal was reached, and the neighborhood sons thanked the Jordanian state for its cooperation in assisting the brothers in Gaza. Here is the text of the statement:
"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Praise be to Allah, who bestowed upon us perseverance, support, and victory over our enemy, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, the Arab Hashemite trustworthy prophet, his family, and his companions. Peace to our people in Gaza, who are patient and steadfast.
The Sons of Al-Tafayelah neighborhood, in support of Gaza, extend their sincerest feelings of joy to their people in the Gaza Strip on the accomplishment of the ceasefire agreement, expressing their pride in the legendary resistance recorded by the Gazans over the course of two full years of genocide.
Two years during which the "army" of the occupation did not hesitate to use all means of mass killing without regard for either human law or international law, with direct American involvement, Western complicity, and a shameful Arab silence.
In this context, we, The Sons of Al-Tafayelah Neighborhood for Supporting Gaza, announce the complete cessation of our relief activities, expressing our sincere thanks to our Jordanian state for the role it has played in supporting the endurance of the Gazans, whether through the diplomatic positions led by His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah, those expressed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi, along with the relief efforts made by official institutions, foremost among them the Armed Forces of Jordan - the Arab Army and the Hashemite Charity Organization, in addition to civil and popular relief campaigns.
We must also thank the sons of Al-Tafayelah neighborhood for their stance, as they were an excellent support for our assembly's efforts, and we thank the sons of the Jordanian people, our partners in every campaign, and the civil institutions and tribal councils that did not lag in their duty of support and relief throughout nearly two years.
We also emphasize in The Sons of Al-Tafayelah Neighborhood the role of the world's governments today in starting the process of reconstructing the sector that the occupation has destroyed about (85%) of its residential buildings, and the citizens there now live without a home to shelter them from the cold of the coming winter, which imposes on states the responsibility to secure them with shelter units until the reconstruction process is completed.
Peace upon you, people of Gaza, for your patience
May Allah have mercy on your martyrs
And heal the wounded and the injured
Long live Palestine, free and Arab
Long live Jordan, safe, dignified, precious, guarded by the care of the Merciful"
