Egypt Husband tortures his pregnant wife after throwing her from the second floor but why

Khaberni - Du'aa, a girl from Port Said and her husband's love story was crowned with marriage, she did not know, being the 21-year-old whose husband threw her from the balcony of their marital home on the second floor, located at the new Al-Qabuti area in the Southern district, that her happy wedding was to be her last rosy dream, turning quickly into a dark nightmare that endangered her life and made her see the hell of poor choice everyone warned her about, becoming a victim of the potato tray incident.

Du'aa’s mother, victim of her husband’s torture in Port Said said the perpetrator is her husband, named Fares Hamdi Abdelhadi, also known as “Fares the Jinn.” He constantly assaulted her by hitting, insulting, slandering, being suspicious, and threatening her with death.

This is not the first time he attempted to kill her
The victim's mother added that what happened to her daughter can only be described as a heinous crime. She noted that the accused had tried to kill her before and this was not the first time. The assaults began merely four days after they were married, despite everyone's warnings, but she insisted on completing their marriage, thinking she could change him after getting married.

Du'aa’s mother, a girl from Port Said, victim of the potato tray incident, explained that her daughter unfortunately paid the price of her wrong choice, after loving her husband and insisting on the marriage despite her young age, only to discover he was an unstable person displaying criminal signs, starting by hitting her and attacking her family, injuring her and her mother multiple times with a sharp weapon.

The grieving mother mentioned that the perpetrator was always threatening to kill her, talking to her on the phone the morning of the incident, asking her to come and take her daughter with her because she said she was sick and couldn't move due to high blood sugar, that her father was at work and her sister too, but he threatened her: "Do you want to take her in one piece or two or shall I bring you her head?"

Regarding the reason behind the crime, the victim's mother said: "That day, Du'aa made him a meat potato tray, and when she found no rice at home, she offered to get him bread, but he refused and entered into a severe anger fit, starting to torture her brutally by pulling off her nails, biting her face and body, and violently opening her mouth to disfigure her face, before using a knife to assault her and then throwing her out of the apartment window from the second floor."

The mother confirmed that the husband did not stop at her falling from the balcony but went down after her, carried her, and took her back into the home to continue torturing her, saying, "Until her ribs, back, and pelvis were broken," noting that her daughter needs more than four surgeries, and she was pregnant but her health condition does not allow the pregnancy to continue due to a fractured pelvis.

She pointed out that the accused used to instill terror in the area and had previously set fire to the residential building to prevent neighbors from coming out or climbing the stairs, noting that the residents were afraid of him because of his aggressive behavior and the thuggery he practiced.

The mother of Du'aa, the victim of the potato tray incident in Port Said, confirmed that her daughter still receives threats from her husband even after he was arrested, demanding the severest punishment against him, saying: "What he did to her was a heinous crime... he began killing her but God saved her."

The security agencies in the Port Said Security Directorate, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, succeeded, last Monday evening, in arresting the husband after he fled following his crime of throwing his wife from the balcony of their home, after transferring her to El Salam Hospital with various fractures and wounds across the body, before the accused attempted to escape.

Investigations by the Interior men revealed that the accused named Fares Hamdi Abdelhadi, pushed his wife Du'aa Ahmed Khalf, aged 21, off the bedroom balcony, causing her to fall from the second floor and suffer serious injuries including fractures in the legs, pelvis, and vertebrae, as well as scattered bruises and wounds over her body.

After the incident occurred, the husband attempted to flee from the house, however, the security forces were able to apprehend him promptly, and escorted him to the police station to investigate the circumstances of the incident and its motives.

The necessary report of the incident was filed, and the investigative authorities were notified, which set about conducting the legal proceedings to complete the investigations and uncover the full circumstances of the incident.
