Khaberni - The head of the Union of Centrist Parties Parliamentary Bloc, Deputy Captain Zuhair Mohammed Al-Khashman, said that the joint statement issued by His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein and the leaders of MED9 South European countries, during the summit held in Slovenia, clearly embodies the high international status enjoyed by Jordan under his leadership, confirming that the voice of the Kingdom is now present in international decision-making.
Captain Al-Khashman emphasized that His Majesty the King's participation in this summit and the signing of the joint statement with leaders of nine European countries, represent international recognition of Jordan's pivotal role in maintaining regional stability and shaping understandings between the Middle East and Europe.
He added that this statement is not just a political document, but a practical translation of His Majesty's vision in enhancing Arab-European partnership, and in building unified stances towards the just causes, foremost among them the Palestinian issue.
Al-Khashman clarified that the content of the statement relating to the necessity to stop the war in Gaza, protect civilians, and support the two-state solution, reflects the steadfast Jordanian position and its Hashemite leadership in defending Jerusalem and the holy sites, and in calling for a just and comprehensive peace based on international legitimacy, confirming that Jordan has never been absent from the arena of defending the Palestinian right, but has always been at the forefront defending justice and human rights.
The head of the bloc added that signing a joint statement in the name of His Majesty the King with leaders of MED9 is a significant political and diplomatic precedent, confirming that Jordan today is not merely a receiver of policies but a partner in making them, and that the international community views Amman as a rational and significant voice in a region plagued by crises.
Al-Khashman emphasized that the Union of Centrist Parties, while expressing its pride and esteem for the positions of His Majesty the King, renews its full rallying around the Hashemite leadership, and its absolute support for the diplomatic efforts led by His Majesty in defending the interests of the Arab nation, and in leveraging Jordan's wise policy to build bridges of communication between East and West.
And Captain Zuhair Al-Khashman concluded by saying:
"Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, proves time and again that it is the voice of conscience in this world, and that its political wisdom has become a reference relied upon in existential issues, not only for the Arabs but for the entire international community."
