Khaberni - The Minister of Local Administration, Engineer Walid El-Masry, conducted a field tour today, Tuesday, in a number of municipalities in Al-Mafraq Governorate, including Deir Al-Kahf, Subha and Al-Dafiana, Al-Salihiyah, Nayfa, and Bani Hashem, to assess the level of services provided to citizens and their readiness for the winter season.
During the tour, the Minister met with the heads of the municipal committees and a number of employees at the municipal headquarters, and heard from the committee heads about the progress of work and ongoing projects, along with the challenges facing the municipalities and the needs required to enhance their performance and improve services.
El-Masry also inspected a number of sites and areas belonging to these municipalities to review ongoing maintenance works, rainwater drainage networks, cleaning of valley channels, and the general cleanliness level of streets and service facilities, as part of the preparations for the winter season.
During the tour, El-Masry emphasized the importance of municipalities continuing to enhance their readiness and strengthen the capabilities of their technical and administrative staff, stressing the need to improve general cleanliness, enhance the work environment, and increase the efficiency of municipal services, which positively reflects on citizens' comfort and quality of life.
