Khaberni - Xiaomi announced its readiness to launch a new generation of its flagship phones equipped with an enhanced dynamic rear screen, which includes a range of unprecedented functions, most notably instant translation, direct display of notifications and reminders.
The company revealed its intention to transform the rear screen from just a tool to display the time or alerts to an interactive smart space, supporting instant translation during calls or video clips, and displaying immediate updates related to flights, music, and delivery orders.
This step comes as part of a developmental plan aimed at enhancing user experience, following the great success achieved by the Xiaomi 17 Pro series in the Chinese market.
Chinese reports mentioned that Xiaomi has increased its investments in developing rear screens to more than one billion Chinese yuan, to expand its software capabilities through monthly updates starting at the end of October.
Additionally, the company's research and development teams are working on integrating artificial intelligence into the system, allowing for customization of notifications and elements displayed on the rear screen based on user behavior and interests.
