Khaberni - Lemon cake is a delicious dish that can be served anytime during the day and in the lunch box, especially because it is fluffy and tasty.
We present to you the method of making fluffy lemon cake through the steps of Chef Tota Murad, host of the program "Aish w Melh" on CBC Sofra channel.
Ingredients for Lemon Cake
200 grams of sugar
8 grams of lemon zest
110 grams of butter
2 tablespoons of oil
2 eggs
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of liquid vanilla
187 grams of flour
5 grams of baking powder
3 grams of salt
120 ml of milk
The glaze:
2 cups of powdered sugar
Half a cup of melted butter
Lemon juice
For decoration:
Lemon zest
Lemon slices
'Khaberni' lemon
Mint leaves
Method of making Lemon Cake
Mix the sugar with the lemon zest well with your hands, then add the soft butter and stir for about 3 minutes.
Add the oil to the mixture and stir well until the texture becomes creamy and fluffy.
Gradually add the eggs and then add the lemon juice and vanilla and stir well.
Mix the dry ingredients together in a medium bowl then alternately add with the milk to the liquid mixture and stir.
Pour the mixture into a cake pan lined with parchment paper or greased with butter.
Place the cake in the oven at 180 degrees for the first half hour and reduce the oven temperature to 160 for another 25 minutes.
Let the lemon quantity cool completely and decorate with the glaze, lemon slices, and mint leaves.

Mix all the ingredients well then apply it on the cake and serve with pleasure and health.
