Khaberni - The Board of Commissioners of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone issued a subsequent decision on Monday to their previous decision dated 2025/10/13, which approved the refund of the financial amount paid by applicants to benefit from the subsidized land sale project, amounting to twenty dinars for those interested.
The Board of Commissioners and the Governor of Aqaba held a collaborative meeting with Aqaba dignitaries, deputies, and notables, where they listened to the observations and suggestions of the local community representatives regarding the subsidized land sale project.
In line with the recommendations and suggestions put forward during the meeting, the Board of Commissioners decided to halt the implementation of the decision to refund the financial amount of 20 dinars effective immediately.
The Authority confirmed that work is still ongoing to complete a comprehensive study of the project from all regulatory and financial aspects that ensure the dignity of citizens and the public interest.
The Council affirms its commitment to continuing constructive dialogue with various official and popular activities in the Aqaba Governorate, which contributes to the public interest and enhances partnership in decision-making.
