Khaberni - The national under-15 football team achieved a 2-0 victory over its Kuwaiti counterpart in a friendly match held this Sunday evening at Jaber Stadium Annex in Kuwait, as part of the training camp being held by the team in preparation for upcoming challenges.
The team's goals were scored by Khaled Al-Sa'asa' at minute 16, and Yousef Abu Sheikha at minute 60.
Representing the team in the match were: Karam Al-Najjar, Jameel Al-Essa (Ahmad Hassan), Ibrahim Al-Fawadleh, Fares Abu Zame' (Obada Ibrahim), Fayez Al-Rawashdeh, Mohammad Al-Shbool (Mohammad Ahmad), Abdul-Hameed Al-Badayneh, Yousef Abu Sheikha (Abdul-Kareem Al-Fayez), Ahmad Bani Yasin, Rashid Ashteiwi (Laith Al-Dardour), Khaled Al-Sa'asa' (Faisal Al-Hourani).
The team started the match with offensive pressing from the beginning, searching for an early goal, succeeding when Al-Sa'asa' opened the scoring at minute 16 after following a cross inside the penalty area and confidently placing it into the net.
The team continued its dominating play throughout the first half, amid excellent defensive organization and positive ball possession.
In the second half, the team asserted its superiority, with Yousef Abu Sheikha enhancing the lead at minute 60 following a rebound from the Kuwaiti goalkeeper after a powerful shot from outside the box, controlling the proceedings until the final whistle.
The team continues its training camp in Kuwait until October 23, where it will meet the hosts again on Wednesday, October 22.
The Jordan Football Association aims, through providing training camps and friendly matches for the under-15 national team, to achieve the highest levels of preparation and support for the team, to move forward in upcoming challenges.
