Khaberni - Greater Amman Municipality emphasized the necessity for service recipients to verify the identity of its official inspection teams, within the framework of its ongoing awareness campaign under the program to improve the standard quality of inspections in commercial establishments
The Municipality mentioned in a press release that it had recently noticed an employee conducting an inspection on a commercial establishment in Amman without it being within his job duties or authorities, whereby the Municipality transferred him to the Public Prosecutor to take legal action against him.
The Municipality clarified that the identity of the inspector can be verified by ensuring he is wearing the uniform, the presence of recording cameras documenting the inspection process, the inspector having an official identification card displayed on the chest including the employee's name and job number, and the use of the official digital tablet (tablet) during the performance of his duties.
Amman Municipality urges all citizens and owners of commercial establishments not to deal with anyone who does not meet these requirements, and to immediately report any violations or illegal practices.
