Khaberni - The Cabinet approved in its session held today, Sunday, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, a revised system for the licensing of drivers for the year 2025.
The system aims to unify the periods of driving licenses from categories four, five, and six with those of categories one, two, and three, making them all 10 years; this is to facilitate the process for citizens.
The system aims to enhance traffic safety by including the driving of public transport vehicles, freight vehicles, medium private buses, and student transport vehicles with the mandatory annual driving permit to ensure traffic safety in these categories.
