Khaberni - The value of individual facilities grew by about 56 million dinars in the second quarter of this year, compared to the first quarter of 2025, during which Amman capital dominated most of the credit facilities during this period, with a percentage reaching 81.7% of the total facilities.
According to data from the Central Bank, the value of individual facilities in the second quarter of 2025 amounted to 14.156 billion dinars, of which 11.307 billion dinars were for males, and the rest were facilities for females. In the first three months of this year, the value of these facilities was about 14.100 billion dinars, including 2.724 billion dinars for females.
The number of facilities granted to males during the first quarter of this year was about 1.256 million loans, and for females, about 362 thousand loans, making the total 1.630 thousand loans, noting that the number of facilities granted in the first quarter of the year was about 1.623 million loans.
According to the geographical distribution of the value of credit facilities, the capital Amman holds the largest share of about 28.989 billion dinars, out of the total facilities valued at about 35.473 billion dinars, followed by the governorate of Irbid, with a value reaching 1.869 billion dinars.
As for the governorates with the least facilities, in the second quarter of this year, Tafilah was the least with a value of about 148 million dinars, outperforming by one rank, the governorate of Ajloun, with a value of approximately 179 million dinars.
