Khaberni - A municipal worker in the governorate of Karak, south Jordan, returned 6,000 dinars to a merchandise distributor after finding it during his work.

Municipal worker Ahmed Al-Khateeb in the Sheehan area north of Karak found a bag containing 6,000 dinars and promptly returned it to its owner after verifying its ownership.

According to Al-Khateeb's story, he asked neighboring shops about the owner of the bag and through checking surveillance cameras it became apparent that it belonged to one of the merchandise distributors who had been looking for it in the village of Rakeen Khaberni and communication with him was made and the bag was returned to him.

Al-Khateeb added that he refused to accept any reward, emphasizing that his action was a religious and moral duty, and not a request for thanks Khaberni or appreciation.
