Khaberni - The Israeli occupation army held a military funeral on Thursday for Sergeant Major Mohammad Al-Atrash, the tracker in the Northern Brigade of the Gaza Division, in the Bedouin village of Al-Sa'wa near occupied Beersheba, after receiving his body as part of an exchange deal with the Hamas movement.
Al-Atrash was killed on October 7, 2023, in the Nahal Oz area, and his body was held in Gaza.
The funeral was attended by Al-Atrash's family and the villagers, where the commander of the Gaza Division praised Al-Atrash's courage and dedication, describing him as a "good role model" and a "bridge of mutual responsibility".
The sergeant in the occupation army left behind two wives and 13 children, the youngest of whom was born a month before his death, in addition to his parents and 22 siblings.
