Khaberni - The Ministry of Water, in collaboration with the competent authorities, detected major violations in the area of Ain Al-Basha district on a main transmission water line designed to supply farms and an abandoned factory selling illegal tanker water and a large tank at the expense of the citizens' designated drinking water allocations.
The Water Authority clarified in a press release that violations on the main lines were detected, the lines were disconnected, and measures were taken to rectify the situation, conducting the necessary controls on the incident to refer it to the judicial authorities to complete the investigations.
The Authority emphasized that it will not neglect its duty towards the citizens and the protection of their water rights, as these violations represent one of the most significant challenges facing the water sector, affirming that the campaign will continue in several areas of the kingdom to firmly control all water sources.
