In his role as a starter for Xabi Alonso, Güler has shone with four decisive assists this season, and his exchanges with Mbappé often make a significant difference.

The Turkish international also spoke about Kylian Mbappé's situation at Real Madrid, saying: Some say he drops back too much, but I think we should let him play wherever he wants, he should take advantage of the opportunities his talent provides.
He added: If he comes into the midfield, and even if he drops back a bit, it's not without reason, he has the experience to do so, and understands the requirements of the game, when he does, it's up to me to cover his place.
