Khaberni - The restoration and improvement of the infrastructure of stadiums is among the most prominent demands of the pillars of Jordanian football, especially after the tangible progress in the results of the national team that won the title of the last Asian Cup before achieving the most important achievement of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
The Jordanian football system believes that the most important demand is the rehabilitation of local football stadiums, especially regarding the pitches of these stadiums, which currently suffer from many problems, causing widespread criticism.
Spokespeople believe that the current stadiums need rehabilitation and maintenance, befitting the achievements of the national team at various levels, according to Petra.
The sports street appeared more optimistic about the rehabilitation of stadiums spread in Amman and the governorates, in light of the attention of Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan to this file, through his repeated visits to sports cities and his instructions to officials on the need to care for and maintain the stadiums, befitting Jordanian football.
Coach Osama Qasim said that the stadiums' file is one of the most important files of Jordanian football that needs better and more suitable stadiums for playing football.
Qasim considered that most of the main stadiums in Jordan are not ideal for playing, which requires attention to this file.
In turn, the former national team player and current national coach, Ahmed Hayel, demanded the need to renovate the pitches of stadiums that negatively affect the players' performance during local competitions.
He considered that the national team’s qualification for the World Cup requires a little attention to the issue of local stadiums' pitches, which suffer from the presence of holes and unsuitable natural grass that is planted or exposed to many problems affecting the quality of the pitch.
For his part, national coach Islam Jalal confirmed that the poor condition of the pitches of most local football stadiums negatively affects the technical level, considering that the achievements of Jordanian football deserve better stadiums, as well as a larger stadium capable of accommodating the large audience, especially during matches of the national football team.
A large number of fans praised the prime minister's field visits to sports facilities, considering that these rounds lay the groundwork for better stadium rehabilitation.
