Khaberni - Deputy Engineer Adnan Mashouqeh directed a parliamentary inquiry to the government, demanding clarification on the mechanism of disbursing high salaries, bonuses, and incentives that senior employees receive in state institutions and companies.

The inquiry text addressed to the Prime Minister, based on the provisions of Article (96) of the Constitution and Article (123) of the Internal Regulation of the House of Representatives, mentioned that Mashouqeh inquired about the government procedures to ensure transparency and fairness in granting salaries and allowances, questioning the justifications for significant disparities in wages compared to the capabilities of the general budget.

The deputy also questioned the reasons behind the government's reliance on foreign grants to finance strategic projects and essential infrastructure, while multiple taxes and fees collect large sums annually from citizens.

Mashouqeh requested the government to clarify its plan to address the financial distortions resulting from the multiplicity of independent bodies and their high costs on the public treasury, questioning whether there was an intention to reintegrate or abolish these bodies to reduce financial burdens.

In conclusion of his inquiry, the deputy inquired about the government policies followed to limit wastage in expenses, bonuses, and travel allowances for senior employees.
