Khaberni - Jordan Customs included, on Tuesday, 14 Jordanian companies in the National Golden List program in the field of importing during a ceremony held at Amman Customs Center in the presence of government agency directors and the owners of the listed companies.
During the ceremony, the Director General of Jordan Customs, General Customs Ahmad Al-Akalik, confirmed in his speech that the Customs is working on implementing a comprehensive update focusing on risk management tools through an integrated system which we aspire to launch in the upcoming phase, leading to the formation of a single team comprising all related regulatory bodies (Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Environment, Standards and Metrology Organization, Food and Drug Corporation, Energy Sector Regulatory Commission, Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, in addition to Jordan Customs), which would ease the regulatory burden on the business sector and improve the investment environment.
A presentation during the ceremony highlighted the success stories of several companies that were included in the National Golden List, and certificates and shields were given, bringing the total number of companies listed in this program to 22 since its launch in 2020.
