Khaberni - A circulating video caused panic in India after a leopard was seen breaking into a private tea farm cafeteria while chasing a wild cat.
The video showed the leopard swiftly moving between the tables and chairs, while a man who was sitting at a table ran seeking safety, while the rest of the workers screamed in terror and fled outside, leaving the place in a temporary chaos.
According to reports, it is likely that the leopard entered the cafeteria in search of prey like cats or rodents that often roam near human settlements, and the Tamil Nadu forest authority has been notified, which has started monitoring the area to prevent any future confrontations.
It is worth noting that the occurrence of leopards and other wild animals inside farms and villages is a frequent incident due to the shrinking of natural forest spaces and lack of food sources.
Local officials have stressed the need for caution and immediate reporting of any predatory animal sightings to protect residents, workers, and visitors alike.
