Khaberni - U.S. President Donald Trump said the region is going through a "very special period," expecting the next phase to "witness significant progress in the Middle East."
Trump added, during his meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi upon his arrival in Sharm El-Sheikh to participate in the summit, that he believes Iran "will join the ranks soon," noting that it "needs some help."
He explained that "the Gaza agreement would not have happened without the bombing of Iran's nuclear facilities," noting that "teams are searching for the bodies of kidnapped Israelis in Gaza," and that the sector "needs a large-scale cleanup due to debris and rubble."
The U.S. President concluded by saying: "We will see a lot of progress in the Middle East in the coming period."
