Khaberni - The Saudi Ministry of Interior issued a statement regarding the execution of the death penalty by punishment, for two offenders in the Tabuk region, stating:
Almighty Allah said: "Do not cause corruption on the earth after its reformation," and He said: "And do not desire corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters," and He said: "And Allah does not love corruption," and He said: "Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and in the Hereafter is a great punishment."
Mahmoud El-Sayed Ahmed Abdel Aziz and Mohammad Ahmed Al-Mohammadi Arafat (Egyptian nationals) proceeded to bring and receive amphetamine tablets and regulated medicinal tablets into the Kingdom. By the grace of Allah, security forces were able to arrest the mentioned offenders, and the investigation led to them being charged with the crime. Upon being referred to the competent court, a verdict was issued proving the allegations against them and sentencing them to death by punishment. The verdict became final after an appeal and ratification by the Supreme Court, followed by a royal decree to implement what was decided in accordance with Sharia law.
The execution of the death penalty by punishment was carried out on Mahmoud El-Sayed Ahmed Abdel Aziz and Mohammad Ahmed Al-Mohammadi Arafat (Egyptian nationals) on Monday, 21 / 4 / 1447 AH corresponding to 13 / 10 / 2025 AD in the region of Tabuk.
By announcing this, the Ministry of Interior affirms the commitment of the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to protect the security of both citizens and residents against the menace of drugs and to impose the severest penalties prescribed by law against smugglers and promoters of it, due to its cause of innocent loss of lives, severe corruption in youth, individuals, and society, and violations of their rights. It simultaneously warns anyone contemplating such actions that they will face divine punishment.
