Khaberni - The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Arab Republic of Egypt expressed its profound sadness and sorrow over the death of three members of the Amiri Diwan following a tragic traffic accident in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh while they were on duty. They are:
• Saud bin Thamer Al Thani
• Abdullah Ghanem Al Khayareen
• Hassan Jaber Al Jaber
Additionally, the following were injured in the accident:
• Abdullah Issa Al Kuwari
• Mohammed Abdulaziz Al Buainain
The embassy immediately started coordinating with the relevant Egyptian authorities regarding the accident, and it will be transporting the deceased and the injured to Doha on a Qatari plane today. Currently, the two injured are receiving the necessary medical care at Sharm El-Sheikh International Hospital.
The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Cairo expressed its deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the families of the deceased, praying to God Almighty to envelop them in His vast mercy and admit them into His vast gardens, and to grant the injured a speedy recovery.
The embassy also expressed its gratitude and appreciation to the relevant authorities in the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt for their cooperation, diligence, and attention in handling the accident and providing the necessary facilities.
