Tomorrow, Sunday, in Dubai Harbour, the events of the tenth edition of "Expand North Star", the largest event for startups and investors around the world, will start and continue until the current October 15.
The event, organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, is abundant with growth and funding opportunities, contributing to the support of the global digital economy's future and enhancing Dubai's position as a leading hub for innovation and technology.
"Expand North Star" will take place with the participation of 2000 startups and more than 1200 investors owning assets exceeding $1.1 trillion.
The event showcases the competitive advantages that solidify Dubai's role as a global platform for promising partnerships between investors and specialized startups in advanced technologies from various parts of the world; the edition this year is the most ambitious in the expo's history and features the launch of new events that enrich its ecosystem and enhance its role in supporting digital entrepreneurship.
The list of new activities includes "ScaleX platform", a program dedicated to spotlighting 50 of the fastest-growing technology companies globally, and the "North Star Green Impact" area focused on startups leading innovation to address environmental and climate challenges.
The agenda also includes the "Deeptech MEA Summit" focused on stimulating innovation in artificial intelligence and robotics, and the "Digital Assets Forum," exploring key issues shaping the new era of the global financial system.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to follow special programs that re-emerge in this edition, including the "Supernova Challenge 2.0", the largest global competition for startups, which once again attracts globally significant emerging companies, with a total prize pool of $250,000 USD.
"Corporate Arena" once again provides an exclusive gathering bringing together corporate leaders with founders and investors, while specialized events return, such as "Marketing Mania" and "Tech Transfer Innovation Forum", aiming to bridge the gap between scientific research, marketing, and business.
