AlHayyah We handled Trumps plan responsibly and Sharm elSheikh agreement will end the war completely

Khaberni - Khalil Al-Hayyah, the leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip, confirmed that the movement handled US President Donald Trump's plan with high responsibility, which led to the announcement of a ceasefire agreement in the Sharm el-Sheikh negotiations, stating that the movement presented a "response that achieves the interest of the Palestinian people and preserves their blood."

Al-Hayyah noted that the agreement reached includes the entry of aid, opening of the Rafah crossing, and exchange of prisoners, and that 250 long-term sentenced prisoners and 1700 prisoners from the Gaza Strip will be released as per the agreement.

He said that the Palestinian negotiating party received guarantees from the mediators and the US administration, and all these parties confirmed that the war had ended "completely."

He emphasized that Hamas will continue to work with all national and Islamic forces to complete the remaining steps in Trump's plan.

Al-Hayyah - in his speech - expressed "deep appreciation for the mediator brothers in Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, and for all those who shared our blood and battle from our nation in Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran... and everyone who stood with us from the free people around the world... especially in the support and freedom convoys by land and sea."

Early this morning, Thursday, Qatar announced the agreement on the terms and mechanisms for implementing the first phase of US President Donald Trump's plan, leading to the cessation of the war and the release of detainees and prisoners, and the entry of aid.

It is scheduled for the Israeli ministerial council (the cabinet) to meet this evening to ratify the agreement, before the final government approval.

The ratification represents a green light to begin the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Gaza Strip to an agreed line in the first phase, and the release of Palestinian prisoners in exchange for Israeli prisoners in Gaza.
