3 Martyrs in Jabalia and Khan Yunis Including Two Children Collecting Firewood

Khaberni - Three Palestinians, including two children, were martyred today, Saturday, and others were injured with varying wounds due to Israeli army fire in the Gaza Strip in the latest breaches of the ceasefire in the sector.

The civil defense in Gaza announced the martyrdom of two children in an Israeli drone bombing near Kamal Adwan Hospital in the Beit Lahia project area, northern Gaza.

The civil defense said that the drone killed the boys Mohammed Yousuf Al-Zu'areer and Zakaria Al-Zu'areer, while Shifa Hospital in the area announced that it had received the two bodies, adding that they were boys aged 13 and 15.

Detailing the martyrdom of the boys, they had gone out as usual to collect firewood hoping to bring back something to light for their families, but an Israeli drone ambushed them with a missile, killing them with the pieces of firewood still in their hands.

Anadolu Agency reported that a Palestinian was martyred in an Israeli bombing that targeted the Qizan Al-Najjar area, in the southern part of the Khan Yunis Governorate, south of the sector, which is among the areas still occupied by the Israeli army in Gaza.

Al Jazeera correspondent reported that several Palestinians were injured with varying wounds in an Israeli artillery shelling that targeted Old Gaza Street in Jabalia Al-Balad, north of the sector. Additionally, a Palestinian was injured with moderate wounds by the shots of the occupation forces outside their deployment areas, north of the sector.

Head Injury
A medical source said that the Palestinian, Magdi Ibrahim Al-Bal'awi, was injured by Israeli gunfire in the Sultans area of Beit Lahia town, north of the Gaza Strip, in an area previously evacuated by the Israeli army.

Early Saturday, a medical source reported that the Palestinian, Mueid Abu Muammar (47 years old), was shot in the head by Israeli gunfire in the middle of Khan Yunis city, south of the sector.

According to eyewitnesses, an Israeli "Quad Copter" drone fired at him near the intersection of Amarah Jasser building in the center of the city, which the Israeli army withdrew from as per the agreement.

In this context, witnesses pointed out that Israeli fighter jets launched raids on areas southeast of Khan Yunis, within the control defined in the agreement, while military vehicles fired in the same location. They also noted that the Israeli navy fired indiscriminately towards the coast of the city.

In the middle of the sector, witnesses mentioned that the Israeli army vehicles positioned in their control areas according to the agreement, fired east of Maghazi refugee camp, while Israeli artillery intensely shelled the eastern areas of Gaza city under the army's control.


71,000 Martyrs
Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 10, 2025, 481 Palestinians were martyred, and 1,313 were injured due to repeated Israeli breaches, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

Meanwhile, the Gaza Health Ministry announced on Saturday that the death toll had risen to 71,654 martyrs, and 171,391 were injured due to the genocide committed by Israel since October 2023.

In a statement, the ministry said that hospitals in the sector had received 4 new martyrs and 12 injured in the past 48 hours, without detailing the circumstances.
