Khaberni - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov announced on Thursday that Moscow has not yet received an official response from the United States regarding President Vladimir Putin's proposal to extend the commitment to the restrictions stipulated in the new "START" treaty for the reduction of strategic nuclear weapons.
During a press conference, Ryabkov said, "Russia remains open to dialogue on this important issue, Moscow is still awaiting the American response, in order to maintain global strategic stability, and is ready to continue consultations as soon as a clear response is issued from Washington."
