Khaberni - Russian authorities rescued a 92-year-old man after he got lost in one of the forests of the Krasnodar region in the south of the country for three full days without food or water, in an exceptional incident that impressed everyone with the elderly man's resilience and the rescue teams’ ability to handle tough conditions.

The Russian Interior Ministry in Krasnodar stated in a press release that the rescue teams found the man near the coastal city of Anapa after intensive search operations that began immediately after receiving a report from his relatives about his disappearance while roaming in the forest near the village of Kumater.

The statement clarified that the elderly man got lost in the forest and was unable to find his way back, spending three days without food or water. After he was found, he was taken to the hospital to receive medical care, where doctors confirmed that his health condition was stable despite suffering from severe exhaustion.
