Khaberni - Netanyahu's office suggested on Thursday that US President Donald Trump is likely to visit Jerusalem on Sunday.

The White House had announced that "President Trump is considering visiting the Middle East shortly thereafter."

Trump's visit coincides with the announcement of an agreement to cease the war on Gaza, after more than two years of genocide.

The newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" spoke about the possibility of Trump giving a speech before the Israeli Knesset, which would make him the fourth US president to address the Israeli parliament after Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush. It is not yet confirmed whether Trump will be able to meet with the detainees, as it depends on the timing of their return and their health condition, but Israeli sources confirm that Trump "will make an effort to achieve this."

Expected to arrive tonight or Friday morning are Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law and former advisor, and the US envoy Steve Witkoff, coming directly from Sharm el-Sheikh following negotiation meetings.

Netanyahu said that Trump should receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
