Khaberni - The Director of Health in Ajloun, Mohammad Al-Tahan, announced on Wednesday that the Ajloun Comprehensive Health Center will soon be relocated to the building of the Ajloun Health Directorate, after the completion of necessary maintenance in the new building.
Al-Tahan stated to "Al Mamlaka" channel that the decision to vacate the current center building was based on a directive from the Minister of Health, following a field visit he made to the province, during which he reviewed the state of health services provided.
He explained that moving the center to the Health Directorate building aims to improve the work environment and ease access for visitors, in addition to ensuring the continuous provision of better-quality health services.
Al-Tahan mentioned that the health directorate staff have been temporarily relocated to a separate building within Al Iman Government Hospital, until the completion of maintenance and technical divisions inside the new directorate building.
He also revealed that a special tender for the maintenance and development of the building will soon be issued in preparation for permanently accommodating the Ajloun Comprehensive Health Center, affirming that this measure is part of the ministry’s plan to enhance the quality of health infrastructure in the province.
In related news, Al-Tahan explained that the Ajloun Health Directorate has acquired a piece of land, and a tender for the necessary studies to construct a new health center there in the future has been issued.
He also noted that Ajloun province currently includes 31 health centers, distributed as follows: 6 comprehensive centers, 16 primary health centers, and 9 branch health centers.
Al-Tahan affirmed that the Ministry of Health continues to develop the health system in the province, meeting the needs of citizens and providing advanced medical services in various areas.
