Khaberni - California has banned loud TV advertisements on Monday, under a new law that mandates commercials to be played at a low volume level.

For a long time, viewers in the United States have complained that TV commercials are much louder than the programs they are watching.

This situation often leads to embarrassing moments; for example, viewers of a quiet-toned wildlife documentary might be surprised by a sharp increase in volume when loud commercials are shown.

The new law stipulates that the volume level of commercials must match the volume of the content presented in the programs.

On this matter, Governor Gavin Newsom stated after signing the law, "We have clearly heard the voice of Californians, and it is clear that they do not want commercials that are louder than the program they are watching."

In addition to traditional TV stations and cable channels, the law also covers streaming platforms.
