Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns in the strongest terms the incursion of the extremist Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and the incursions and provocative actions by extremists at the Al-Aqsa Mosque/Blessed Haram Al-Sharif, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police; a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law, and a condemnable and unacceptable provocation, emphasizing that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied city of Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian holy sites.

The official spokesperson for the ministry, Fouad Al-Majali, affirmed the Kingdom's absolute rejection and strong condemnation of the continued rejected incursions by the extremist minister, and the facilitation by the occupation police of the repeated incursions of extremists to the Al-Aqsa Mosque/Blessed Haram Al-Sharif, considering them a blatant violation of the historic and legal status of the Al-Aqsa Mosque/Blessed Haram Al-Sharif, and an attempt to divide it temporally and spatially, as well as a desecration of its sanctity.

Al-Majali warned of the consequences of the continued provocative and illegitimate violations of the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, demanding that Israel, as the occupying power, stop these violations and all provocative practices of the Israeli government's extremists, which are a continuation of the extremist Israeli government's policy aimed at continuing dangerous escalation and unilateral illegal measures in the occupied West Bank and violation of the sanctity of the Islamic and Christian holy places in occupied Jerusalem.

Al-Majali reiterated the affirmation that the entire area of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, spanning 144 dunums, is a pure place of worship for Muslims, and that the administration of Jerusalem's Endowments and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs, under the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic and Christian Holy Sites Affairs in Jordan, is the legally competent authority exclusively responsible for the affairs of Al-Aqsa Mosque/Blessed Haram Al-Sharif, and organizing entry to it.
