Khaberni - The Iranian authorities announced the dismantling of a spy network belonging to the Israeli "Mossad" agency, managed by a person using a pseudonymous identity named "James B. Dean" on the "X" platform (formerly Twitter).
According to Iranian media, the accused person created a fake account on the platform and began posting content hostile to the Iranian regime, with the aim of attracting opponents and adversaries of the regime. He participated in incitement during the events of autumn 2022, before his role evolved into leading a digital campaign named "Resistance on Site" to organize protests and riots in the streets.
The investigations revealed that "James B. Dean" later became linked to a transnational network that included supporters of the former royal regime and some associates of Reza Pahlavi. He was directed by a lady named "Elahe" who resides in Sydney, Australia, to communicate with an agent directly connected to Mossad through an account known as "Avin", to begin collecting information about sensitive security and military locations inside Iran and transferring them to the Israelis.
According to Iranian sources, the accused was tasked with identifying locations of special units and defense facilities. The operations of transmitting electronic information coincided with an escalation of Israeli attacks on Iranian territory in 2025, where some of that information was later published in the digital space.
The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence announced that after careful monitoring, it was able to identify the members of the network and arrest the planner and several participants, confirming the start of investigations and trials against them.
In his televised confessions, "James B. Dean" said that supporting Israel was "the biggest mistake of his life," noting that he did not realize the extent of the damage caused by the network or the number of victims who fell due to its activity.
