Khaberni - The economy of the Gaza Strip has sustained severe losses over the last two years, estimated by the Gazan Government Media Office at about $70 billion; these are just the initial direct losses for 15 vital sectors.
A previous report from the Gazan Government Media Office explained that about 90% of the infrastructure in the sector was destroyed after 700 days of ongoing war. The destruction affected various economic sectors.
According to the Media Office, Israeli forces dropped about 125,000 tons of explosives on the sector, resulting in the near-total destruction of buildings and vital facilities.
And the Israeli war machinery destroys about 300 buildings daily in the Gaza Strip, and has already destroyed nearly 90% of the buildings.
