Khaberni - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened on Tuesday to annihilate Hamas, amid ongoing indirect talks between Hamas and Israel in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
Netanyahu, writing on platform (X), stated that Israel is experiencing crucial and decisive days, committing to continue working to achieve all goals of the war in the Gaza Strip.
He stated that he will bring back all detainees from the Gaza Strip and destroy "Hamas to ensure the Gaza Strip does not pose a threat again."
The American President's plan to end the war in Gaza includes a clause stating that "once all detainees are released, Israel will release 250 prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment, in addition to 1700 Palestinians from Gaza arrested after October 7, 2023, including all detained women and children in that context. For each Israeli detainee whose body is returned, Israel will release remains of 15 Palestinians."
Indirect talks commenced in Egypt on Monday to discuss mechanisms of exchanging detainees in Gaza and prisoners in the occupation jails, as part of the Trump plan.
Trump had published on Monday, September 29, 2025, a 20-point plan to end the war in Gaza, still requiring the approval of the relevant parties, and particularly mandates him to chair a commission overseeing the transitional phase in the sector.
Hamas has delivered its response to the Trump plan regarding the war on Gaza to the mediators.
