Actress Mona Farouk announced that she had suffered a sudden health setback that required her to be transferred to a hospital for necessary treatment, where she appealed to her audience to pray for her to overcome the health crisis, through her official account on "Instagram".
Mona Farouk posted through the "Story" feature a picture of her inside the hospital receiving medical care, and wrote a touching comment saying:
«O Lord, the Lord of people, remove the hardship, heal as You are the Healer, there is no healing but Your healing, a healing that leaves no sickness behind.. Pray for my speedy recovery».
Previous setback due to slimming injections
Actress Mona Farouk had previously suffered from a severe health setback in December, due to her use of slimming injections that caused her stomach paralysis. At the time, she revealed details of her suffering, warning her followers of the dangerous effects of these injections on health.
At that time, Mona Farouk posted through the "Story" feature on her Instagram account a message saying:
«All praise is due to Allah in every condition, a temporary stop in the digestive system, I have colon irritation with constipation, I have stomach bacteria, stomach inflammation, and bleeding due to a fissure, need a colonoscopy and a gastroscope. May God make it pass well, and all this is because of the slimming injections».
Mona Farouk is a young actress who began her artistic career in 2015 through the movie "Al-Khalbous" starring Mohamed Ragab, and then participated in a number of notable series including "The Godfather" in both its parts, "Shadow of the President", "Raheem" starring Yasser Galal, and "Days" in which she co-starred with Houria Farghali and Sherry Adel. She also appeared in the movie "Sales Representative" alongside Bayoumi Fouad and Ayten Amer, which was shown last year.
New drama project
Actress Mona Farouk is currently starring in a new series titled "Mystery", written by Fathy El-Gendy and directed by Hossam Salama, and starring alongside a number of stars including Wafaa Amer, Nehal Anbar, Mohamed Najati, Ilham Abdelbadea, the singer Esaaf, Mahmoud Fares, and artist Shams, along with a group of other actors.
Filming of the series is scheduled to resume in the upcoming period, where the story takes place in a social thriller context, addressing human issues and complex relationships between characters in an atmosphere of mystery and dramatic escalation.
