Scandal Shakes Polish Drama

Khaberni - The International Police Organization "Interpol" has issued a red notice for the famous Polish actor Bartłomiej Morawski, after a court verdict sentenced him to five years in prison for raping a 16-year-old girl, in a case that shook the artistic and media circles in Poland.

The decision came after the Warsaw District Court issued its prison sentence for Morawski, aged 58, on charges of sexual assault against the minor, but the actor disappeared immediately after the verdict was announced, prompting the Polish authorities to seek Interpol's help to track him down.

The investigations suggest that Morawski might be involved in 14 other sexual assaults, which are currently being scrutinized by the police and the public prosecutor in Poland.
Interpol has published the complete personal details of the fugitive actor on its official website, including his picture and details of his birth, height, and eye color, warning that he might use forged identities to avoid international pursuit.

The Polish authorities have also urged citizens to immediately report any information about his whereabouts.

Morawski is one of the most prominent figures in Polish drama over the past decades, having participated in a number of popular TV series, before his artistic career declined due to his involvement in cases related to unethical behavior and assaults.

He also attempted to venture into politics by running twice for the Polish parliament with the Law and Justice Party (PiS), but his attempts failed, moving his name from the pages of art to the international wanted lists.
