Khaberni - On Saturday, U.S. President Donald Trump ordered the deployment of 300 National Guard troops in Chicago, weeks after he had hinted at making this decision despite objections from city officials.
White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said, "President Trump has authorized the deployment of 300 National Guard troops to protect officers and federal assets."
She added, "President Trump will not turn his eyes away from the chaos that is sweeping American cities."
