Khaberni - Researchers from the University of Tsukuba in Japan reported that individuals who have changed their jobs are more prone to symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, and insomnia, based on the results of an online survey conducted on nearly 20,000 people in Japan.
Although changing jobs can be an opportunity for a fresh start, it can also lead to increased physical and mental stress.
Job changing is widely used for career development in Japan; however, its effects on health have not received much attention until now.
Stress Symptoms
According to "Medical Express," the self-reported survey results revealed that those who changed jobs in the past year reported higher rates of symptoms, such as headaches, fatigue, and insomnia, compared to those who did not.
This trend was particularly evident among those who changed jobs for the first time.
Those who changed jobs encountered more stress factors, such as working late hours, problems with colleagues, and excessive workloads.
These situations can lead to physical discomfort and negatively impact mental health.
