Khaberni - A new report indicates that the Korean company Samsung may reveal the "Project Moohan" extended reality glasses during the current month of October.
According to a report by the Korean news site "ChosunBiz", the pre-order for Samsung’s extended reality glasses - codenamed "Project Moohan" - will start on October 15, with the official launch a week later on October 22.
The device's price may range between $1,800 and $2,900 in the United States. With this high price tag, it appears the device will be aimed at early adopters and will be an alternative to Apple's "Vision Pro" glasses, according to a report by "Mashable", the technology news website, which "Al Arabiya Business" reviewed.
Leaks indicate that the "Project Moohan" glasses are equipped with "Micro-OLED" displays measuring 1.3 inches with a resolution of 3552x3840 pixels, or approximately 13.64 million pixels per eye, nearly two million pixels more than "Vision Pro", and a significant difference from "Quest 3" - by Meta - which contains 4.56 million pixels.
There is no guarantee at present that "Samsung" will launch the device globally this month, and previous rumors suggested that it would first reach Korea.
It's very likely that "Samsung" will launch the device first in Korea and other parts of Asia, then later in the West. This will probably become clear in the coming weeks.
"Samsung" first announced the "Project Moohan" glasses last January.
The new Korean report confirms previous reports that the extended reality glasses could be launched in October.
