Khaberni - Professor Dr. Miyas Rimawi, the Vice President of Petra University for Academic Affairs, representing the University President, sponsored the graduation ceremony for the twelfth batch of training diploma students, which included specializations in: Interior Design and Decoration, Cybersecurity, Graphic Design and Animation, Hospital Management, and Business Administration, with the participation of (80) male and female students.
The ceremony was attended by the deans of the colleges, the president and members of the center's advisory council, and a number of faculty members, in addition to the graduates' families.
Dr. Rimawi emphasized in his speech the role of Petra University's Continuing Education Center as a beacon of knowledge and learning, contributing to the training of cadres capable of keeping up with the rapid transformations in the job market. He indicated that the training diploma programs represent a comprehensive educational experience that equips students with the necessary practical and academic skills to enter the job market with confidence and competence. He also expressed his gratitude to the trainers and professors for their efforts, congratulating the graduates and their families on this accomplishment.
In his turn, Saad Al-Maghribi, Director of the Continuing Education and Community Service Center, delivered a speech confirming that the center continuously strives to develop its training programs to meet the local and regional job market needs, showcasing the addition of the Chemical Industries and Cosmetics Diploma, and courses in Artificial Intelligence, as well as the center's acquisition of international accreditations like the Certified Financial Manager (CFM) exams, International Computer Driving License, TOEFL, and SEISCO.
Additionally, student Maher Al-Qudah gave a speech on behalf of the graduates, in which he expressed his pride in this achievement that was not merely the end of an educational path, but the beginning of a new launch towards a promising academic and professional future. He extended his thanks to the university and center administration, his professors, colleagues, and family who supported his educational journey.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to the graduates, in a special atmosphere that reflected the spirit of pride and appreciation for the academic achievements accomplished by Petra University’s Continuing Education Center.
